  • that the online booking accessible on our website is provided by ResNexus and we do not control the privacy policy of ResNexus;

Use of Web Site

You may view and use the Blackinton Manor website without disclosing any personal information. However, anonymous statistics about visits to the site and to individual pages are tracked for the purposes of better understanding our potential clientele and continually improving our service to them. Our website is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix.com provides us with the online platform that allows us to promote our lodging services to you. If you wish to reserve accommodation we will collect only the personal information necessary to handle your booking. This information normally includes:

Retention and Safety of Your Information

Business records that contain your personal information (for example, room sales) are held for the period required by statute--during which period we will not delete your information. We keep your information in a computerized property management system. We take appropriate and good-faith technical and physical measures to protect the personal data that we collect from unauthorized access or modification, improper use or disclosure, and loss or unlawful destruction. Our property management system ResNexus is PCI Compliant via audit, following the highest level of security standards. From the ResNexus Privacy Policy: "When our Site is accessed, Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology protects information using both server authentication and data encryption to help ensure that Data is safe, secure, and available only to you. ResNexus also implements an advanced security method based on dynamic data and encoded session identifications, and hosts the Site in a secure server environment that uses a firewall and other advanced technology to prevent interference or access from outside intruders. Finally, ResNexus provides unique user names and passwords that must be entered each time a customer logs on. These safeguards help prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the appropriate use of Data."

 

Our Site has security measures in place to help protect against the loss, misuse, and alteration of the Data under our control. In order to continue to serve you on future stays, we will retain your information after the statutory period. After the statutory period expires, you may request that we delete your information and we will promptly do so.
